Site Selection Requirements for Household Waste Sorting Equipment
(1) The site selection of the domestic waste landfill shall conform to the regional environmental planning, the construction planning of environmental sanitation facilities and the local urban planning.
(2) The site of domestic waste landfill should not be selected in urban industrial and agricultural development planning areas, agricultural reserves, nature reserves, scenic spots, cultural relics (archaeological) reserves, drinking water
(3) The elevation of the site of the domestic waste landfill should be located above the flood level with a recurrence period of not less than 50 years, and it should be built in the inundation area and protection of artificial water storage facilities such as reservoirs in the long-term planning|
(4) It is proposed to build a valley-type landfill with reliable flood control facilities, and it has been proved through environmental impact assessment that the environmental risk of floods to the domestic waste landfill is within an acceptable range, and the location specified in the preceding paragraph shall be selected.
(5) The selection of domestic waste landfill sites should avoid the following areas:
Destructive earthquakes and active tectonic areas; active slumps, landslides and uplift zones; active fault zones; limestone lava cave development zones; active subsidence areas in abandoned mining areas; active dune areas;
(6) The location of the domestic waste landfill site and the distance from the surrounding population shall be determined according to the conclusion of the environmental impact assessment and approved by the local environmental protection administrative department.
